Were you always planning to be an accountant and why?

Yes indeed I am very analytical, adapt to change and enjoy changing the financial health of companies .I specifically like to focus on why clients don't get clean audits, I put updated systems in place and outsource my services to them .It is always rewarding to see executive and top management being relieved from fraud and being assured that they can focus on growing their companies with reliable people.

I  always make an impact, as I have learned long ago that if your Financial Statements, budgets ,cash flows and systems are up to date ,the CFO of the company is pleased to produce his high quality reports and executives can focus on their strategies without stress.

To me once an audit file is clean and ready ,its a win and I also enjoy training staff on understanding our roles as accountants and making an effort into being products of success.

What I do also avoid is unnecessary firing of staff ,but effective training to keep the organisations and companies positive ,with proper cash flow models and ensuring growth.

When meeting with clients do they mostly come to your own premises or do you mostly go their theirs?

I mostly go to my clients

What is your preferred mode of communication with your clients?

Email, Phone, Face to Face, Skype

What do you love most about accounting?

The rewards of completing projects, reaching deadlines and intelligent reports that reflect the true financial position of the company and give an executive an opportunity into intelligence strategies/decision making.

Would you recommend accounting as a career for school-leavers, and why?

You are guaranteed to get a job that takes your skills seriously. Accountants get paid well as their usually the lifesavers of businesses.
