No, wanted to study engineering, then switched to accounting.

My clients come to my office

Yes

 

What do you love most about accounting?

To see a finished set of financials which I have done.

 

Would you recommend accounting as a career for school leavers, and why?

Yes, you can be your own boss and there are no limits to what you can achieve.

 

What qualities should South African business people be looking for in their accountant?

Business experience.

 

What is the biggest challenge facing accountants today?

To keep up with laws even when you are too busy to do so.

 

What aspects of accounting do you focus on most?

Compliance
